General Equipment Company
The history of General Equipment Company started with the beginning of VonRuden Manufacturing Company in the middle 1940's. The first mechanically operated tractor-mounted saw and later hydraulically-powered chain saws eventually evolved into hydraulic motors and gearboxes.
Production systems continue to be leveraged with emphasis on robotics and cell automation to drive quality standards and cost reductions. Product design and selection are influenced by the ever changing demands of world markets.
