CAT-20040DCADC | The California Air Tools 20040DCADC ultra quiet and oil-free spin-on air dryer air compressor with auto drain valve is designed to be one of the quietest 4 hp air compressors in the industry emitting only 75 decibels of sound. The powerful 4 hp motor operates at only 1,680 rpm creating less noise, less vibration, and less wear. The oil-free dual piston pump system is engineered for longevity, high performance and durability. The new, heavy-duty SP Series motor is designed for increased duty cycle and longer continuous run time. This motor is tested for a minimum pump life of 3,000+ hours before service, 25% more life before repair. The large 20 gallon ASME steel air tank allows for less motor usage and longer life.

The new spin-on cartridge air drying system features a regenerating high-temperature molecular sieve desiccant with a lifespan of 2 years prior to replacement. The air dryer is specially designed to remove 98% of the water vapor from the air to protect sensitive tools and expensive machinery. To dry the air from the air compressor an aftercooler and air dryer are utilized. The aftercooler is a heat exchanger for cooling the discharge air from the air compressor. The water vapor from the compressed air is condensed into liquid form and pushed into the air dryer.

The CAT-20040DCADC air compressor with factory installed auto drain valve is ideal for anyone working indoors where noise and the need for removal of moisture is a major issue.

Ships complete with (4) air filters, no special assembly or installation service required.
